But the fact is that we increasingly try protectors, anti-aging cream, facial wash, among other various types of cosmetics to improve the appearance. We are always willing to try anything under the sun to achieve beautiful skin. But there are no overnight miracles.
However, we will continue with the tips that facilitate face care.
Check out the tips to keep your face beautiful and healthy
1. The Golden Rule
Always make sure to remove your makeup before hitting the bed for a sound sleep. The skin needs to breathe at night, and the makeup left on the skin prevents the breath from being made through the pores, which can cause blemishes or blackheads.
Don’t have a makeup remover? Put a little oil in a cotton ball and gently massage the oil on the face to remove the makeup and dirt impregnated in the skin.
Do not forget that exfoliation is essential, at least once or twice a week. Exfoliation removes layers of dead skin, leaves skin looking brighter and healthier.
You can even apply a yogurt paste with a powdered knot to exfoliate your skin, as the nuts have antioxidants that help remove dirt.
2. Skin and Sun
Apply a sunscreen with a protection factor of at least 15 to block UVA and UVB rays. With daily sun exposure that can cause blemishes, wrinkles and other skin problems, you need to protect your skin from the sun.
Be sure to use sunscreen even if the weather is cold or cloudy.
3. Eat well
Pay attention and write down what you put on your plate. Feed on fresh fruits and vegetables, as well as enough vitamins and proteins. A low-fat, vitamin C-rich diet provides radiant skin.
A low sugar diet, on the other hand, keeps insulin levels low and allows a healthy balance in the cells.
Avoid fermented and spicy foods, fried foods, salt, and citrus fruits. Instead, consume lighter foods like oats, apples, and rice.
Exercise regularly. Running and yoga, for example, improve blood circulation and speed up the cleansing process of the entire body.
After a workout, you will notice a glow on your face. Run a little, take a walk around the block, what you can’t do is standstill.
5. Night beauty
The ideal is to sleep at least 8 hours every night. If you don’t keep your eyes closed enough, your skin will be tired just like you. So don’t take any chances. You can also apply honey to your face 2-3 times a week to naturally heal and soothe your skin.
Don’t forget to moisturize and wash your face before diving into bed. If your skin is dry, use mild, alcohol-free cleansers. Apply hydrant and avoid hot water.
6. Hydrate yourself well
Drink plenty of water every day, at least 8 glasses or more. Also, eat vegetables and fruits with a high water content such as cucumber, strawberry, watermelon, orange, melon and grape.
The “rose water” helps to reduce and prevent puffiness of the eyes upon waking, in addition to maintaining the pH balance and moisturizing your skin naturally if applied during the day.
7. I’m acne
Daily wash your face with lukewarm water at least 3 times, gently massaging in a circular motion, then dry and apply a lotion with benzoyl peroxide, it helps the skin by containing antibacterial actions.
Do not pop the pimples, as this leads to redness, swelling, and scarring. Do you suspect a pimple is coming? Clean the area with rosewater and put a bag of green tea for 10 minutes.
If you wear prescription glasses or sunglasses, be sure to clean them frequently to avoid clogging the pores around the nose and eyes caused by the accumulated oil.
8. Healthy habits
Take time for yourself and try to avoid stress as much as possible. Have you noticed that when you are stressed you try to get out more?
Stress causes the body to produce cortisol and other hormones that make the skin more oily. Look for stress management techniques like yoga, breathing and meditation exercises.
Also, exercise with your chin and face muscles. At least 5 minutes a day, do some facial exercises. One facial exercise you can do is to protect your lower lip producing wrinkles on your chin and then lower your chin down to your chest.
Another good exercise is to look at the ceiling and pout, it stretches the muscles and makes the skin firmer.
Even after dressing perfectly, you still need something more for a complete look, your smile!
A lot of time and energy is spent sharpening the body and appearance while forgetting to express inner joy and happiness. A frequent smile on your face helps maintain the tone of your facial muscles, and you can look younger!
